Star TV’s upcoming series Yoksulluk (Poverty), produced by OGM Pictures, is in the works, and preparations are well underway. Written by Selin Arapkirli, Ramazan Demirli, and Özgür Ağaoğlu, the series will be directed by Cem Karcı.
Yoksulluk will tell the story six orphaned siblings; Azize, Cemo, Zeliha, Fidan, Ramo, and Balım, as they navigate their lives in Istanbul. Casting is currently underway, with Hazal Subaşı and Asude Kalebek being considered for the role of Azize, one of the older siblings. The series will also feature other young actors for the remaining sibling roles.
