‘Ataturk’ Reached More Than 750 Thousand Viewers in the Second Week

Produced by Lanistar Media, Atatürk 1881-1919 met with audiences in a wide geography with its international premieres and cinema screenings and became the “Best Debuting Drama of 2023” in Turkey.

According to Box Office data, Atatürk was the “Best Debuting Drama of 2023” in Turkey. It surpassed these figures in its second week and was watched by more than 750 thousand people in the first 10 days. Ataturk 1881-1919 1st Film, which was shown in four continents including America, Europe, Asia and Africa, and released in England, France, Germany, Belgium, Austria, Denmark, Switzerland, Sweden, the Netherlands, Sweden, the Netherlands and finally Azerbaijan, will be in theaters in more than 30 countries, including all Balkan countries and the Middle East region, as well as Kazakhstan.

PREMIERES IN SENEGAL, WASHINGTON AND DUBAI

The world premiere of the film was held as part of the “Hollywood Turkish Film and Drama Days” in Los Angeles on November 4-5 with the contributions of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the Presidential Communications Directorate. Producer Saner Ayar said: “After Hollywood, with premieres in Senegal (Dakar) and Washington and a special screening in Dubai, our film has reached Asia, Europe, America and Africa, four continents of the world. Atatürk 1881-1919 is being shown in 160 theaters in Europe.” The film was released in Sweden on November 10.

World Premiere of Atatürk

Directed by Mehmet Ada Öztekin, Atatürk 1881-1919 tells the story of a leader who transformed into a hero on the road to the National Struggle and changed the fate of both himself and his country. The film stars Aras Bulut İynemli as Mustafa Kemal, Songül Öden as Zübeyde Hanım, Mehmet Günsür as Ali Rıza Efendi, Sarp Akkaya as Enver Pasha and Esra Bilgiç as Madame Corinne.

Atatürk 1881-1919, which took 1.5 years to prepare and about 4.5 months to shoot, will be released as two films in cinemas. Following a 75-minute special broadcast on TV, Atatürk 1881-1919 Film 1 met the audience on November 3 with its 132-minute long cinema version. The second film will be released in cinemas on January 5.
